I am very pleased with the guitar lessons with Vanja. His approach is very flexible and considers uniqueness of each student. His understanding of RCM program is deep and he can explain very well specifics of each music peace and new technical elements. Startinng in October last year with only some basic knowlage of guitar playing, I was able to move from preparatory level to level 3 material within 7 months with very good guidance by Vanja. Vanja has very supportive teaching style and when I encounter some difficulties while playing new technical elements, he knows how to give additional instructions for practice with a lot of encouragements. I don't even need to mention that his lessons always start on time, lessons are well organized and I learned a lot from him during these 7 months. I feel so lucky to meat someone like Vanja and I am looking forward to continue this learning jurney with Vanja. I am giving 5 stars to Vanja as a Teacher.

Classical guitar is the most advanced way for one to play a guitar. The right hand is developed in such a way that it can sustain two, three, and four voice harmonies while also paying attention to tone production. The classical guitar is one of the very few solo polyphonic instruments, and is notoriously very difficult to master. It is life long journey not a destination. The classical guitar is standard instrument and is studied at music universities and conservatories. Guitar performance has never been at a higher technical level than it is today and there is no prospect to the end of this development.
Vanja has than 40 years of expertise and in-depth knowledge in classical guitar and music theory.
Balanced curriculum that includes subjects: seating position, guitar technique for both hands, music theory, classical guitar history, reading, and practice techniques as well as repertoire from all classical guitar periods (Renaissance, Early Baroque, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary period), phrasing, and performance.
Combines relevant, historical and modern classical guitar methods from which is taken the most effective materials.
Classical Guitar History and Literature provides an historical survey of the guitar and lute from the 16th-century to the present day. We'll explore influential composers, repertoire, changing stylistic approaches, and the evolution of the instruments themselves. Guitar History is presented in modules: Early, Renessance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporarly Classic Guitar.
The lessons always follow the most current syllabus of Royal Conservatory of Music Canada, Trinity College and ABRSM.
Lessons are personally planned by the teacher in advance with care and attention to detail based on individual students needs and desires.
Vanja incorporates classical guitar educational modules, developed by educational books and Vanja's own experience, comprised of various topics in Physiology, Anatomy and elementary laws of Mechanics in order to set a natural, intuitive command of technique. Each module is comprised of various topics to facilitate study progression.

The acceptance and placement in this program are determined by the goals and interests of the student. Classes are held at your home and they are specifically designed on-one-to-one training session with full hour of duration time.
